Bogota is a vibrant and exciting city with plenty to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 6 days in Bogota:

Day 1: Arrival and City Tour

• Arrive in Bogota and check into your hotel
• Start your day with a delicious breakfast at one of the many cafes in the La Candelaria neighborhood
• Take a walking tour of the historic La Candelaria neighborhood, which is home to many of Bogota's most famous landmarks, including the Plaza de Bolivar, the Gold Museum, and the Botero Museum
• In the afternoon, take a cable car up to the top of Monserrate for stunning views of the city

Day 2: Zipaquira Salt Cathedral and Guatavita Lake

Day 5: Salt Cathedral of Nemocón and Andres Carne de Res

• Take a day trip to the Salt Cathedral of Nemocón, another stunning underground cathedral built inside a salt mine
