Italy is a beautiful country with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 4 days in Italy, keeping in mind your constraints as a new solo traveler:

Day 1: Rome

Start your trip in the capital city of Rome. Begin your day by visiting the iconic Colosseum, one of the most famous landmarks in the world.
