Here's an ideal itinerary for 4 days in Lima:

Day 1:

• Start your day with a visit to the historic center of Lima, also known as the Plaza de Armas. Here, you can see the beautiful architecture of the colonial buildings, including the Presidential Palace and the Cathedral of Lima.
• After exploring the Plaza de Armas, head to the San Francisco Monastery. This monastery is famous for its catacombs, which contain the remains of over 70,000 people.
• For lunch, try some of Lima's famous ceviche at one of the many seafood restaurants in the Miraflores district.
