Montreal is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 2 days in Montreal:

Day 1:

Start your day off with a delicious breakfast at one of Montreal's famous cafes, such as Cafe Olimpico or Cafe Myriade. After breakfast, head over to the Old Port of Montreal, where you can take a stroll along the waterfront and enjoy the stunning views of the St. Lawrence River.

Next, make your way to Notre-Dame Basilica, one of Montreal's most iconic landmarks. This stunning cathedral features intricate stained glass windows and a breathtaking altar. After exploring the basilica, head over to Place Jacques-Cartier, a lively square filled with street performers, artists, and vendors selling souvenirs.
