Day 1:

Morning: Start your day with a visit to the iconic Acropolis, the ancient citadel perched high above the city. Marvel at the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and other ancient ruins while enjoying panoramic views of Athens below. Be sure to arrive early to beat the crowds and the heat.

Lunch: After exploring the Acropolis, head to Plaka, the historic neighborhood nestled at the foot of the Acropolis. Wander through its charming streets lined with neoclassical buildings and traditional tavernas. Stop for a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant and savor classic Greek dishes like moussaka, souvlaki, or a fresh Greek salad.
