After spending a few hours at the beach, make your way to the nearby city of Kruja, located about 30 kilometers from Durrës. Kruja is known for its historical significance and its connection to Albania's national hero, Skanderbeg. Visit the Kruja Castle, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and houses the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to the life and achievements of Skanderbeg.

On your last day in Durrës, take a day trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Berat, also known as the "City of a Thousand Windows." Berat is located about 70 kilometers from Durrës and is famous for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture.
Explore the historic center of Berat, known as the Mangalem Quarter, with its narrow cobbled streets and traditional houses.
