Athens is a beautiful city with a rich history and culture. Here's an ideal itinerary for 2 days in Athens for an older couple:

Day 1:

• Start your day with a visit to the Acropolis, one of the most famous landmarks in Athens. You can take a guided tour or explore on your own. The Acropolis is home to several ancient ruins, including the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion.
• After exploring the Acropolis, head to the Acropolis Museum, which is located at the foot of the Acropolis. The museum houses a collection of artifacts from the Acropolis and provides a great insight into the history of Athens.
