Australia is a beautiful country with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 5 days in Australia:

Day 1: Sydney

Start your day by visiting the iconic Sydney Opera House, which is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. Take a guided tour of the Opera House to learn about its history and architecture. After that, head over to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and climb to the top for breathtaking views of the city. In the afternoon, visit the Taronga Zoo to see some of Australia's unique wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas, and wallabies.

Day 2: Great Barrier Reef

Take a flight to Cairns and spend the day exploring the Great Barrier Reef. You can go snorkeling or scuba diving to see the colorful coral reefs and marine life. If you prefer to stay dry, take a glass-bottom boat tour to see the underwater world without getting wet. In the evening, enjoy a sunset dinner cruise on the reef.

Day 3: Uluru

Fly to Alice Springs and then drive to Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock. This massive sandstone rock formation is sacred to the Aboriginal people and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a guided tour around the base of Uluru to learn about its cultural significance and history. In the evening, watch the sunset over Uluru while enjoying a glass of wine.

Day 4: Melbourne

Fly to Melbourne and spend the day exploring this vibrant city. Visit the Royal Botanic Gardens, which is home to over 8,500 plant species from around the world. Then, head over to the National Gallery of Victoria to see some of Australia's best art collections. In the evening, take a stroll along the Yarra River and enjoy the city lights.

Day 5: Great Ocean Road

Take a scenic drive along the Great Ocean Road, which is one of the most beautiful coastal drives in the world. Stop at the Twelve Apostles, which are limestone stacks that rise out of the ocean. You can also visit the Loch Ard Gorge and the London Arch. In the evening, head back to Melbourne for your flight home.

I hope this itinerary helps you plan your trip to Australia!
