Bali is a beautiful island with so much to offer. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Bali:
Day 1:
- Start your day early and head to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, located in Ubud. This stunning rice terrace is a must-visit spot in Bali.
- After exploring the rice terrace, head to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, also located in Ubud. This sanctuary is home to over 700 monkeys and is a great place to get up close and personal with these playful creatures.
- For lunch, head to one of the many restaurants in Ubud. I recommend trying some traditional Balinese cuisine like Nasi Campur or Babi Guling.
- In the afternoon, visit the Tirta Empul Temple, which is famous for its holy spring water. You can even take a dip in the holy water if you wish!
- End your day by watching the sunset at Tanah Lot Temple, which is located on a rock formation in the sea. It's a beautiful sight to see!
Day 2:
- Start your day by visiting the Uluwatu Temple, which is perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The temple is known for its stunning views and traditional Kecak dance performances.
- After visiting the temple, head to Padang Padang Beach, which is a beautiful white sand beach surrounded by cliffs.
- For lunch, try some fresh seafood at one of the beachside restaurants.
- In the afternoon, visit the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, which is home to a massive statue of the Hindu god Vishnu riding his mount, Garuda.
- End your day by watching the sunset at Jimbaran Beach, which is known for its seafood restaurants and beautiful sunsets.
Day 3:
- Start your day by visiting the Tegenungan Waterfall, which is located in Gianyar. This stunning waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and is a great spot for swimming.
- After visiting the waterfall, head to the Bali Swing, which is located in Ubud. Here, you can swing over the jungle and take in the beautiful views.
- For lunch, try some traditional Balinese food at one of the many restaurants in Ubud.
- In the afternoon, visit the Goa Gajah Temple, also known as the Elephant Cave. This temple is famous for its intricate carvings and ancient history.
