Bali is such a beautiful destination, and I’m excited to help you plan a fantastic 3-day itinerary. Since you’re departing from the Philippines and returning to Shanghai, we’ll make sure to keep your travel smooth and enjoyable. Let’s dive in!

## Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation in Ubud

Morning:

• Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar). Since you want to stay close to the airport for your first night, I recommend heading to Ubud, which is about a 1.5-hour drive away.
• Check into a cozy hotel or villa in Ubud. There are plenty of options that offer a serene atmosphere, like the Alaya Resort Ubud or Bambu Indah.

Afternoon:

• After settling in, grab a leisurely lunch at Naughty Nuri’s Warung for some delicious ribs or a refreshing smoothie bowl.
• Post-lunch, take a stroll through the Ubud Monkey Forest. It’s a fun way to see the playful monkeys and beautiful ancient temples.

Evening:

• For dinner, head to Locavore (make sure to book in advance!). It’s a fantastic fine dining experience that focuses on local ingredients.
• After dinner, enjoy a traditional Balinese dance performance at the Ubud Palace. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in the local culture.

## Day 2: Exploring Ubud and Surroundings

Morning:

• Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel or at Clear Café. Their smoothie bowls are a must-try!
• After breakfast, visit the Tegallalang Rice Terraces. The views are stunning, and you can take some great photos. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the famous swing!

Afternoon:

• Head to Tirta Empul Temple for a unique cultural experience. You can participate in the holy water purification ritual if you’d like.
• For lunch, stop by Warung Babi Guling Ibu Oka for some traditional Balinese roast pork.

Evening:

• Spend the evening at the Campuhan Ridge Walk. It’s a beautiful, scenic walk that’s perfect for couples.
• For dinner, enjoy a romantic meal at The Sayan House, which offers stunning views of the Ayung River and a fusion of Japanese and Latin cuisine.

## Day 3: Beach Day and Departure

Morning:

• Check out of your Ubud accommodation and head towards the beach. Since you want to avoid Kuta and Sanur, I recommend visiting Nusa Dua or Jimbaran. Both areas have beautiful beaches and are relatively close to the airport.
• Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at The Cashew Tree in Canggu on your way, which is a bit off the beaten path but worth it!

Afternoon:

• Spend your day relaxing on the beach. You can rent a sunbed and enjoy the sun, or if you’re feeling adventurous, try some water sports like snorkeling or paddleboarding.
• For lunch, indulge in some fresh seafood at one of the beachside restaurants in Jimbaran. Menega Café is a popular choice!

Evening:

• After a day of relaxation, make your way back to the airport. Depending on your flight time, you might have a little extra time to explore the local shops or grab a last-minute souvenir.
• Depart for Shanghai, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated from your Bali getaway!
