Itinerary

Barcelona is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 2 days in Barcelona:

Day 1:

  • Start your day with a visit to the iconic Sagrada Familia, one of the most famous landmarks in Barcelona. This stunning basilica was designed by Antoni Gaudi and is still under construction after more than 100 years.
  • After visiting Sagrada Familia, head over to Park Guell, another masterpiece by Gaudi. The park is filled with colorful mosaics, sculptures, and breathtaking views of the city.
  • For lunch, try some traditional Spanish tapas at La Boqueria Market, located in the heart of Las Ramblas. This market is a foodie's paradise, with fresh seafood, meats, fruits, and vegetables.
  • In the afternoon, take a stroll through the Gothic Quarter, the oldest part of Barcelona. This area is full of narrow streets, charming squares, and historic buildings.
  • End your day with a visit to Casa Batllo, another one of Gaudi's masterpieces. This unique building is known for its colorful facade and whimsical design.

Day 2:

  • Start your day with a visit to Montserrat, a mountain range located just outside of Barcelona. Take a cable car up to the top of the mountain for stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
  • After returning from Montserrat, head over to the Picasso Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of Picasso's artwork in the world.
  • For lunch, try some paella, a traditional Spanish rice dish, at a local restaurant.
  • In the afternoon, take a walk along the beachfront boardwalk, Barceloneta. This area is full of restaurants, bars, and shops, and offers beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea.
  • End your day with a visit to Casa Mila, also known as La Pedrera. This unique building was designed by Gaudi and is known for its undulating facade and rooftop terrace.

I hope this itinerary helps you plan your trip to Barcelona!
