Itinerary

Day 1:

Good morning! Let's start our first day in Barcelona with a visit to , a beautiful park with a zoo, a lake, and plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. The little ones will love seeing the animals and exploring the greenery.

After spending the morning at the park, we can head to , one of Barcelona's most famous streets. It's a bustling pedestrian boulevard lined with shops, cafes, and street performers. The whole family can enjoy a leisurely stroll down , maybe stopping for some churros or ice cream along the way.

For lunch, I recommend trying some traditional Spanish tapas at a local restaurant. Tapas are small, shareable dishes that are perfect for trying a variety of flavors. The kids can sample some patatas bravas (fried potatoes with spicy sauce) or croquetas (fried croquettes), while the adults can enjoy some seafood paella or jamón ibérico.

In the afternoon, we can head to , known for its stunning views of the city and its many attractions. There's something for everyone here - the 4-year-old can enjoy the Montjuïc Castle and the Magic Fountain, while the 14-year-old might be interested in the Joan Miró Foundation or the Montjuïc Cable Car ride.

Day 2:

Good morning again! Today, let's explore more of Barcelona's attractions. Since we're traveling from Santa Susana, we can take the train or bus to the city center to start our day.

For the 14-year-old, a visit to the might be a great idea. This historic neighborhood is full of narrow streets, medieval buildings, and hidden squares waiting to be discovered. The teenager can appreciate the history and architecture while the little one can enjoy the charming surroundings.

For lunch today, we can try some delicious Catalan cuisine at a local restaurant. Catalan food is known for its fresh seafood, hearty stews, and tasty desserts. The kids might enjoy some grilled fish or Catalan-style sausage, while the adults can savor some fideuà (similar to paella but made with noodles) or crema catalana (a creamy dessert similar to crème brûlée).

After lunch, we can head to the beach for some relaxation and fun in the sun. Barcelona has several beautiful beaches, such as , where the whole family can enjoy building sandcastles, swimming in the sea, or simply soaking up the Mediterranean atmosphere.

I hope this itinerary gives you a good mix of activities for both the kids and the teenager, as well as some delicious food experiences along the way. Have a fantastic time exploring Barcelona!
