Beijing is a wonderful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 9 days in Beijing that is family-friendly:

Day 1: Arrival and Check-in

• Arrive in Beijing and check into your hotel
• Take a stroll around the hotel and explore the nearby area
• Have a relaxing evening and get some rest for the days ahead

Day 2: Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City

• Start your day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world
• Walk through the Gate of Heavenly Peace and enter the Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties
• Spend the day exploring the palace complex and learning about China's rich history

Day 3: Great Wall of China
