In the afternoon, head to the Museum of Belize to learn more about the country's history and culture.
Take a day trip to the ancient Mayan ruins of Altun Ha, located just outside of Belize City. This site was once a major trading center and is home to several impressive temples and pyramids. After exploring the ruins, enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to your hotel.
Today, you'll travel to the town of San Ignacio, located in western Belize near the border with Guatemala. Along the way, stop at the Belize Zoo to see some of the country's native wildlife up close.
Spend the day exploring San Ignacio, which is known for its vibrant arts scene and lively market. Visit the Cahal Pech Mayan Ruins, which are located just outside of town, and then head to the Green Iguana Conservation Project to learn about these fascinating creatures.
Take a day trip to the nearby Mayan ruins of Xunantunich, which are located on a hill overlooking the Mopan River. This site is home to several impressive temples and plazas, as well as a museum that showcases artifacts from the ancient Maya.
Today, you'll travel to the coastal town of Placencia, which is known for its beautiful beaches and laid-back vibe. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or exploring the town's shops and restaurants.
Take a boat tour to some of the nearby islands, where you can go snorkeling and explore the coral reefs. You'll also have the opportunity to visit some of the smaller cayes, where you can relax on the beach and enjoy a picnic lunch.
Take a day trip to the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to jaguars, pumas, and other native wildlife. You can hike through the rainforest, swim in the waterfalls, and learn about the local flora and fauna.
Sadly, it's time to say goodbye to Belize. Your private transfer will take you back to the airport for your flight home.
