Boston is a great city with plenty to see and do, especially for students looking for a mix of history, culture, and nightlife. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Boston:

Day 1:

• Start your day with a visit to the famous Harvard University campus in Cambridge. Take a stroll around the beautiful grounds and check out some of the historic buildings.
• After that, head over to the Museum of Fine Arts, which has an impressive collection of art from around the world. It's a great way to spend a few hours indoors on a cold day.
• In the evening, head to the North End neighborhood for some delicious Italian food. There are plenty of great restaurants to choose from, but I recommend trying the pizza at Regina Pizzeria or the pasta at Giacomo's.

Day 2:

• Start your day with a visit to the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking tour that takes you through some of Boston's most historic sites. You'll see everything from the Massachusetts State House to Paul Revere's house.
• After that, head over to the Boston Common, a large park in the heart of the city. If it's winter, you can go ice skating on the Frog Pond. If it's warmer, you can take a picnic lunch and enjoy the scenery.
• In the evening, head to the Fenway neighborhood for some fun nightlife. There are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, but I recommend checking out the House of Blues for live music or Bleacher Bar for a unique sports bar experience (it's located inside Fenway Park!).

Day 3:

• Start your day with a visit to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, a beautiful museum filled with art and artifacts from around the world. The building itself is also a work of art, with a stunning courtyard garden.
• After that, head over to the Seaport District for some shopping and dining. There are plenty of great restaurants to choose from, as well as shops and boutiques.
• In the evening, head to the Back Bay neighborhood for some more nightlife. There are plenty of bars and clubs here as well, but I recommend checking out the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Symphony Hall or catching a show at the historic Wilbur Theatre.
