Itinerary
Canada is a beautiful country with so much to offer, and I'm excited to help you plan your trip. Since you mentioned that you're traveling with a pet, I'll make sure to include pet-friendly activities and accommodations in the itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival in Vancouver
- Check into a pet-friendly hotel such as the Fairmont Pacific Rim or the Loden Hotel
- Take a stroll through Stanley Park, one of the largest urban parks in North America. There are plenty of trails and beaches for you and your furry friend to explore.
- Visit Granville Island, a bustling market filled with artisanal food, crafts, and live entertainment. Many of the shops and restaurants are pet-friendly, so you can enjoy a meal or snack with your pet by your side.
Day 2: Whistler Adventure
- Drive up to Whistler, a scenic mountain town about two hours north of Vancouver. Along the way, stop at Shannon Falls Provincial Park for a hike and picnic lunch with your pet.
- Once you arrive in Whistler, take the gondola up to the top of the mountain for stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Dogs are allowed on the gondola as long as they are leashed.
- If you're feeling adventurous, try ziplining or bungee jumping with your pet at Whistler Bungee. They provide harnesses for dogs so they can join in on the fun!
Day 3: Victoria and Butchart Gardens
- Take a ferry from Vancouver to Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. The ferry ride is about 90 minutes and offers beautiful views of the coast.
- Once you arrive in Victoria, visit the famous Butchart Gardens. This 55-acre garden is filled with colorful flowers, fountains, and sculptures. Pets are allowed on the grounds as long as they are leashed.
- After exploring the gardens, take a walk through the historic downtown area of Victoria. Many shops and restaurants are pet-friendly, so you can enjoy some local cuisine with your furry friend by your side.
I hope this itinerary gives you some ideas for your trip to Canada! Let me know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else I can help you with.
