Charleston is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Charleston:

Day 1:

Start your day by exploring the historic district of Charleston. Take a walking tour of the area to learn about the city's rich history and architecture. You can also visit some of the famous landmarks such as the Battery, Rainbow Row, and the Nathaniel Russell House.

For lunch, head to Husk, a popular restaurant that serves Southern cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. After lunch, take a stroll through Waterfront Park and enjoy the views of the harbor.

In the afternoon, visit the Charleston City Market, where you can find unique souvenirs and handmade crafts. End your day with a sunset sail on a catamaran or a dinner at one of the many seafood restaurants in the area.

Day 2:

Start your day with a visit to the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, one of the oldest plantations in the South. The gardens are stunning and offer a glimpse into the history of the area.

After the plantation, head to Folly Beach, a popular spot for surfing and sunbathing. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or exploring the nearby shops and restaurants.

In the evening, head back to the historic district for a ghost tour. Charleston is known for its haunted history, and there are plenty of tours available to explore the spooky side of the city.

Day 3:

Start your day with a visit to the Charleston Tea Plantation, the only tea plantation in North America. Take a tour of the plantation and learn about the process of making tea.

After the plantation, head to the nearby Angel Oak Tree, a massive oak tree that is estimated to be over 400 years old. It's a beautiful sight to see and a great photo opportunity.

In the afternoon, visit the Gibbes Museum of Art, which features a collection of American art from the colonial period to the present day. End your day with a sunset dinner cruise on the harbor, where you can enjoy stunning views of the city skyline.

I hope this itinerary helps you plan your trip to Charleston!
