Chengdu is a beautiful city with a rich cultural heritage and delicious food. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Chengdu that will allow you to explore the city at a relaxed pace:

Day 1:

• Start your day by visiting the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, which is located just outside the city. You can see pandas of all ages and sizes here, and learn about their conservation efforts.
• After spending some time with the pandas, head back to the city and visit the Wenshu Monastery. This is one of the most important Buddhist temples in Chengdu and is known for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful architecture.

Day 2:

Day 3:

• Start your day by visiting the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which is another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This system was built over 2,000 years ago and is still used to irrigate the surrounding farmland.
• After visiting the irrigation system, head back to the city and visit the Jinsha Site Museum. This museum showcases artifacts from the ancient Shu civilization, which existed in this area over 3,000 years ago.
• In the evening, head to a hot pot restaurant and try some of Chengdu's famous spicy cuisine. Hot pot is a popular dish in Chengdu and involves cooking meat, vegetables, and noodles in a boiling pot of broth.
