Day 1: Exploring the Cultural Charms of Cochin

Morning: Start your day by visiting the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets at Fort Kochi. These unique fishing nets are a symbol of Cochin's maritime heritage and offer a picturesque view of the waterfront. You can even try your hand at operating the nets with the help of the local fishermen.

Next, head to the nearby St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Take a moment to admire the beautiful architecture and learn about its historical significance.

Afternoon: For lunch, indulge in some delicious Kerala cuisine at a local restaurant. Don't miss out on trying the traditional Kerala thali, which consists of a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes served on a banana leaf.

Afterward, make your way to the Mattancherry neighborhood, where you'll find the famous Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. Explore the palace's stunning murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and other mythological tales.
