Edinburgh is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 4 days in Edinburgh:

Day 1:

• Start your day by visiting the iconic Edinburgh Castle, which sits atop a hill overlooking the city. You can take a guided tour or explore on your own.
• After the castle, head down the Royal Mile, a historic street that leads from the castle to Holyrood Palace. Along the way, you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions to explore.
• Stop at St Giles' Cathedral, a stunning medieval church that's been a place of worship for over 900 years.
