Day 1: Paris

Day 2: Versailles

Take a day trip to the Palace of Versailles, located just outside of Paris. Marvel at the opulence of the palace and its gardens, which were once home to French royalty. Afterward, head back to Paris for a relaxing evening at a local wine bar.

Day 3: Champagne Region

Travel east to the Champagne region, where you can visit some of the world's most famous champagne houses. Take a tour of the cellars and learn about the production process before enjoying a tasting. Spend the night in Reims or Epernay, two charming towns in the heart of the region.

Day 4: Lyon

Head south to Lyon, known as the gastronomic capital of France. Explore the city's historic Old Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sample some of the local specialties, such as quenelles and saucisson, at one of the many bouchons (traditional Lyonnaise restaurants).

Day 5: Provence

Drive to the picturesque region of Provence, where you can explore charming villages such as Gordes and Roussillon. Visit the lavender fields and olive groves, and stop by a local market to pick up some fresh produce. Spend the night in Avignon, a beautiful medieval city.

Day 6: Nice

Travel to the French Riviera and spend the day in Nice. Stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, visit the colorful Old Town, and take a dip in the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy a seafood dinner at one of the many restaurants overlooking the sea.

Day 7: Cannes

End your trip with a visit to the glamorous town of Cannes. Walk along the famous Croisette Boulevard, where you can see the Palais des Festivals (home of the Cannes Film Festival) and the luxurious hotels. Relax on the beach or take a boat tour of the nearby islands before heading back to Paris for your flight home.
