## Day 1: Arrival in Hilo (March 25)

• Morning: Arrive at Hilo International Airport. Pick up your rental car (a must for exploring!).
• Afternoon: Check into your accommodation. After settling in, head to Liliuokalani Gardens for a leisurely stroll. The beautiful Japanese gardens are a perfect introduction to the island.
• Evening: Enjoy dinner at Hilo Bay Café with a view of the bay. Try the fresh poke or local fish!

## Day 2: Volcanoes National Park (March 26)

• Morning: Early breakfast, then head to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Start at the Kīlauea Visitor Center to get the latest on volcanic activity.
• Afternoon: Explore the Crater Rim Drive and hike the Kīlauea Iki Trail for stunning views of the crater. Don’t forget to check out the Thurston Lava Tube!
• Evening: Return to Hilo and grab dinner at Cafe 100 for some local plate lunch.

## Day 3: Waterfalls and Beaches (March 27)

• Morning: After breakfast, visit the Akaka Falls State Park. The 442-foot waterfall is breathtaking!
• Afternoon: Head to Rainbow Falls for some more stunning views. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also check out Carlsmith Beach Park for some swimming and snorkeling.

## Day 4: Cultural Day in Hilo (March 28)

• Evening: Enjoy a traditional Hawaiian luau at Coconut Island. It’s a great way to experience local culture and cuisine!

## Day 5: Transition to Kona (March 29)

• Morning: Check out of your Hilo accommodation and drive to Kona. Stop at Punalu’u Black Sand Beach on the way for some unique photo ops and maybe spot some sea turtles!
• Afternoon: Arrive in Kona and check into your hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing at Kona Beach or exploring the local shops.
• Evening: Dinner at Jackie Rey’s Ohana Grill for some delicious seafood and a laid-back atmosphere.

## Day 6: Snorkeling and Coffee (March 30)

• Morning: Head to Kealakekua Bay for some snorkeling. The waters are crystal clear, and you’ll see vibrant marine life. Consider booking a guided tour for the best experience!
• Afternoon: After snorkeling, visit a local coffee farm, like Greenwell Farms, for a tour and tasting of the famous Kona coffee.
• Evening: Dinner at Huggo’s on the Rocks for a casual beachside dining experience. Enjoy the sunset!

## Day 7: Relax and Explore (March 31)

• Morning: Take it easy with a leisurely breakfast. Then, visit the Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park to learn about Hawaiian history and culture.
• Afternoon: Spend some time at Honaunau Bay for more snorkeling or just relax on the beach.
• Evening: For your last night, treat yourself to a nice dinner at Merriman’s in Waimea, known for its farm-to-table dining experience.

## Day 8: Departure (April 1)

• Morning: Enjoy a final breakfast in Kona. If time allows, take a quick stroll along the beach or do some last-minute shopping.
