You’ll be staying at the fabulous Kaanapali Alii in Maui, which is a perfect base for your explorations. Let’s dive in!

## Day 1: Arrival in Maui

• Morning: Arrive at Kahului Airport (OGG) and pick up your rental car. Drive to Kaanapali Alii and check in. Take a moment to soak in the stunning ocean views!
• Afternoon: After settling in, head to the nearby Whalers Village for lunch. Explore the shops and grab a bite at one of the oceanfront restaurants.
• Evening: Enjoy a leisurely stroll along Kaanapali Beach. Watch the sunset and maybe even catch the traditional cliff diving ceremony at Black Rock.

## Day 2: Historical Maui

• Morning: Start your day with breakfast at your resort, then head to the Baldwin Home Museum in Lahaina. This historic home gives you a glimpse into 19th-century Hawaiian life.
• Afternoon: Visit the Lahaina Historic District. Explore the old whaling town, check out the Wo Hing Museum, and don’t miss the famous Banyan Tree.
• Evening: Have dinner at a local restaurant in Lahaina, perhaps Fleetwood's on Front St. for some live music and great food.

## Day 3: Haleakalā National Park

• Morning: Rise early and drive to Haleakalā National Park. Hike the Sliding Sands Trail for breathtaking views of the crater. Don’t forget your camera!
• Afternoon: After your hike, head back down and stop at a local café for lunch. Consider trying some local favorites like poke or loco moco.

## Day 4: Travel to Honolulu

• Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the resort, then check out and head to the airport for your flight to Honolulu.
• Afternoon: Arrive in Honolulu and check into your hotel. After settling in, visit the Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the United States. Take a guided tour to learn about Hawaii’s monarchy.
• Evening: Explore the vibrant Chinatown for dinner. Try some local dishes at a trendy restaurant or food market.

## Day 5: Pearl Harbor and History

• Morning: Visit Pearl Harbor. Start with the USS Arizona Memorial and then explore the Pacific Aviation Museum. Make sure to book your tickets in advance!
• Afternoon: Head to the Bishop Museum, which is rich in Hawaiian history and culture. Spend a few hours exploring the exhibits.

• Evening: Have a nice dinner at Leilani’s on the Beach and enjoy the ocean breeze.

## Day 8: West Maui Exploration

• Morning: Drive to Kapalu Beach for a morning hike on the Pali Trail. The views of the coastline are stunning!
• Afternoon: Visit the Maui Ocean Center to learn about marine life and conservation efforts in Hawaii.
• Evening: Enjoy a traditional Hawaiian luau, like the Old Lahaina Luau, for a night of food, music, and dance.

## Day 9: Departure

• Morning: Enjoy your last breakfast in paradise. Take a final stroll along the beach or do some last-minute shopping at Whalers Village.
• Afternoon: Check out of your resort and head to the airport for your departure. Take with you the memories of a lifetime!
