3 day itinerary for Iceland

Iceland is a beautiful country with so much to offer, and I'm excited to help you plan your girls' trip. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Iceland:

Day 1:

• Start your day with a visit to the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa known for its healing properties and stunning blue waters. You can relax in the warm waters, enjoy a mud mask, and take in the beautiful surroundings.
• After the Blue Lagoon, head to Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland. Take a stroll through the colorful streets, visit the Hallgrimskirkja church, and check out the Harpa concert hall.
• For dinner, try some traditional Icelandic cuisine at a local restaurant. Some popular dishes include lamb, fish, and skyr (a type of yogurt).

Day 2:

• Today, you'll explore Iceland's natural beauty. Start with a drive along the Golden Circle, a popular tourist route that includes stops at Thingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area, and Gullfoss waterfall.
• At Thingvellir National Park, you can walk between the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia, and learn about the country's history and culture.
• At Geysir, you'll see the famous Strokkur geyser erupt every few minutes, shooting water up to 30 meters in the air.
• Finally, at Gullfoss waterfall, you can take in the stunning views and feel the power of the water as it cascades down the rocks.

Day 3:

• On your last day in Iceland, take a scenic drive along the south coast. Stop at the Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, and take a walk on the black sand beach at Reynisfjara.
• If you're feeling adventurous, you can also go glacier hiking or take a snowmobile tour on one of Iceland's glaciers.
• For your final dinner in Iceland, try some more local cuisine or head to a trendy restaurant in Reykjavik.
