Itinerary

Italy is a beautiful country with so much to offer, and I'm excited to help you plan your 3-day itinerary. Here's what I suggest:

Day 1: Rome

Start your day by visiting the Colosseum, one of the most iconic landmarks in Rome. After that, head over to the Roman Forum, which is just a short walk away. You can spend a few hours exploring the ruins and learning about ancient Roman history.

For lunch, try some authentic Italian pizza at Pizzeria La Montecarlo, which is known for its delicious thin-crust pies. After lunch, take a stroll through the charming streets of Trastevere, a picturesque neighborhood filled with colorful buildings and quaint cafes.

In the evening, head to the Trevi Fountain, one of the most famous fountains in the world. Make sure to throw a coin into the fountain, as legend has it that doing so will ensure your return to Rome. For dinner, try some traditional Roman dishes like cacio e pepe or carbonara at Osteria del Pegno.

Day 2: Amalfi Coast

Take an early morning train from Rome to Naples, and then hop on a bus to the stunning Amalfi Coast. The journey takes around 2-3 hours, but the views along the way are absolutely breathtaking.

Once you arrive in Amalfi, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea at Marina Grande Beach. After that, head to Ristorante Da Gemma for some fresh seafood and stunning views of the coastline.

In the afternoon, take a boat tour of the coast to see the famous towns of Positano and Ravello. You'll get to see the colorful houses perched on the cliffs, and the turquoise waters of the sea below. In the evening, head back to Amalfi for a relaxing dinner at Il Teatro.

Day 3: Naples

Start your day by exploring the historic center of Naples, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Royal Palace of Naples and the Castel dell'Ovo, both of which offer stunning views of the city and the sea.

For lunch, try some authentic Neapolitan pizza at Pizzeria Sorbillo, which is known for its delicious pies made with fresh ingredients. After lunch, take a stroll through the vibrant streets of Spaccanapoli, one of the oldest and most colorful neighborhoods in Naples.

In the evening, head to the Piazza del Plebiscito, one of the largest public squares in Italy. You can enjoy a drink at one of the many cafes or bars in the area, and soak up the lively atmosphere. For dinner, try some traditional Neapolitan dishes like spaghetti alle vongole or parmigiana di melanzane at Trattoria da Nennella.

I hope this itinerary helps you plan your trip to Italy! Let me know if you have any other questions or need more suggestions.
