Congratulations on your honeymoon! Japan is a beautiful country with so much to offer. Here's an ideal itinerary for 21 days in Japan:

Day 1-3: Tokyo

Start your trip in the bustling city of Tokyo. Spend your first day exploring the famous Shibuya crossing and the trendy Harajuku district. On day two, visit the historic Sensoji Temple and the Imperial Palace. End your third day by visiting the iconic Tokyo Tower and enjoying the view of the city from above.

Day 4-6: Hakone

Take a break from the city and head to the scenic town of Hakone. Enjoy a relaxing soak in one of the many hot springs and take a cable car ride up to the top of Mount Hakone for stunning views of Mount Fuji.

Day 7-9: Kyoto

Next, head to the cultural capital of Japan, Kyoto. Visit the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine and the beautiful Kinkaku-ji Temple. Spend your second day exploring the traditional streets of Gion and experiencing a traditional tea ceremony. On your third day, take a day trip to Nara to see the famous Todai-ji Temple and the friendly deer that roam the city.

Day 10-12: Hiroshima

Travel to Hiroshima to learn about the history of World War II and visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum. Take a ferry to Miyajima Island to see the famous Itsukushima Shrine and the floating torii gate.

Day 13-15: Osaka

Head to Osaka, known for its delicious food and vibrant nightlife. Visit the Osaka Castle and the Dotonbori district for some shopping and street food. On your second day, take a day trip to the nearby city of Kobe to try some of the best beef in the world.

Day 16-18: Kanazawa

Travel to the charming city of Kanazawa to experience traditional Japanese culture. Visit the Kenrokuen Garden and the Kanazawa Castle. On your second day, take a trip to the nearby Shirakawa-go village to see the traditional thatched-roof houses.

Day 19-21: Tokyo

End your trip where you started, in Tokyo. Spend your last few days shopping in the trendy neighborhoods of Shibuya and Shinjuku. On your final day, visit the Tsukiji Fish Market for some fresh sushi before heading home.
