- After fueling up, take a leisurely stroll around the town. Check out some local shops and art galleries to get a feel for the area.

- Head into . Enter through the West Entrance and stop by the to grab a map and get some tips from the rangers.
- Start your park adventure with a hike at . It’s a relatively easy 1-mile loop that showcases some of the park’s iconic rock formations and Joshua trees.
Afternoon: Picnic and More Hiking
- Pack a picnic lunch (you can grab some snacks at the café or a local grocery store) and enjoy it at one of the picnic areas in the park, like .
