Day 1: Arrival in Kedarnath and Acclimatization

In the afternoon, you can visit the famous , dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located at an altitude of 3,583 meters and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. The trek to the temple is a spiritual experience in itself, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
After seeking blessings at the temple, you can explore the nearby areas and indulge in some local cuisine. Don't forget to try the delicious Garhwali dishes like Kachmauli, Chainsoo, and Kafuli. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of Kedarnath.
Day 2: Trek to and Chorabari Tal
Gear up for an exciting day of trekking, my adventurous friends! Today, we will embark on a trek to and Chorabari Tal, two stunning high-altitude lakes near Kedarnath.
Start early in the morning and head towards , located at an altitude of 4,150 meters. The trek offers mesmerizing views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers. Once you reach , take a moment to admire the crystal-clear waters and the reflection of the majestic mountains.
After spending some time at , continue your trek to Chorabari Tal, also known as Gandhi Sarovar. This sacred lake is located at an altitude of 3,900 meters and is named after Mahatma Gandhi. The trek to Chorabari Tal is relatively easier and offers panoramic views of the Himalayas.
In the evening, return to Kedarnath and relax at your accommodation. You can share stories of your trekking adventures with your friends and enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 3: Explore Surrounding Areas and Departure
On your last day in Kedarnath, take the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region.
You can visit the nearby , a hot spring and a popular pilgrimage site. Legend has it that Goddess Parvati meditated here to win Lord Shiva's heart. Take a dip in the holy waters and experience the rejuvenating effects of the hot spring.
If time permits, you can also visit the beautiful , located around 25 kilometers from Kedarnath. This ancient temple is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married.
