Mallorca is a beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea, and there are plenty of things to do and see. Here's an ideal itinerary for 7 days in Mallorca:
After arriving at Palma de Mallorca airport, head straight to your hotel or Airbnb to check-in and freshen up. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on one of the many beautiful beaches on the island. Some of the best beaches include Playa de Muro, Cala Agulla, and Es Trenc.
Take a tour of the capital city, Palma de Mallorca. Visit the famous Gothic Cathedral, La Seu, which overlooks the sea. Walk around the old town, where you can find narrow streets, historic buildings, and charming cafes. Don't forget to visit the Almudaina Palace, a former Arab fortress turned royal palace.
Explore the stunning Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a scenic drive through the mountains, stopping at picturesque villages like Valldemossa and Deia. You can also go hiking or cycling in the area, or take a boat trip along the coast.
Mallorca has a long history of wine production, and there are many vineyards on the island. Take a tour of a local vineyard, such as Bodega Ribas or Bodegas José L. Ferrer, and learn about the winemaking process. Enjoy a wine tasting and sample some of the delicious local wines.
Visit the Caves of Drach, a series of underground caves with stunning rock formations and an underground lake. Take a guided tour of the caves, which includes a classical music concert and a boat ride on the lake. Afterward, head to nearby Porto Cristo for lunch and a stroll along the beach.
Spend another day at the beach, but this time try some water sports like paddleboarding, kayaking, or snorkeling. You can rent equipment from many of the beachside vendors. If you're feeling adventurous, try parasailing or jet skiing.
Visit one of the local markets, such as Mercat de l'Olivar in Palma, where you can find fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at one of the island's many excellent restaurants. Try some traditional Mallorcan dishes like paella, sobrasada, or ensaimada.
I hope this itinerary helps you plan your trip to Mallorca!
