Maui is such a beautiful island with so much to offer, and I’m excited to help you plan a fun-filled 7-day itinerary for your family. With your interests in cliff jumping, waterfall hikes, and beaches with big waves, we can create an adventure-packed week. Let’s dive in!

## Day 1: Arrival in Kahului

Morning:

• Arrive at Kahului Airport (OGG). Pick up your rental car—this will be essential for exploring the island!
• Check into your accommodation. There are plenty of family-friendly options in the Kahului area, like the Maui Beach Hotel or the Courtyard by Marriott.

Afternoon:

• Head to Kanaha Beach Park. It’s close to Kahului and has great views, picnic areas, and some fun waves for the kids to splash around in.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch here—grab some local snacks from a nearby grocery store.

Evening:

• Have dinner at Duke’s Beach House in Ka’anapali. It’s a bit of a drive, but the sunset views are worth it!

## Day 2: Road to Hana Adventure

Morning:

• Start early and hit the Road to Hana. This scenic drive is a must-do! Make sure to stop at Twin Falls for a short hike and some waterfall fun.

Afternoon:

• Continue to Wai'anapanapa State Park. Here, you can explore the black sand beach and do some cliff jumping if you’re feeling adventurous!
• Pack a lunch to enjoy at the park.

Evening:

• Head back towards Kahului, stopping at Hana Farms for some fresh fruit and snacks.
• Dinner at Mama's Fish House (make a reservation in advance!). It’s a bit of a splurge, but the food and atmosphere are incredible.

## Day 3: Waterfall Hike and Beach Day

Morning:

• After breakfast, head to Iao Valley State Park. The Iao Needle hike is short and family-friendly, with beautiful views and a chance to see some waterfalls.

• Drive to Kapalua Beach. It’s a great spot for swimming and has some nice waves for the kids to enjoy.

• Dinner at The Fish Market in Paia for some fresh seafood and casual dining.

## Day 5: Explore Lahaina and Cliff Jumping

Morning:

• Spend the morning exploring Lahaina Town. Check out the shops, art galleries, and the famous Banyan Tree.

Afternoon:

• Head to Olowalu Beach for some cliff jumping! There are some safe spots for jumping, and the water is usually calm.
• Pack a lunch or grab something from a local food truck.

Evening:

• Enjoy dinner at Fleetwood’s on Front St. for a great meal and live music.

## Day 6: Relaxation and Beach Time

Morning:

• Take it easy today! Head to Napili Bay for a relaxing beach day. The water is usually calm, making it great for swimming and snorkeling.

Afternoon:

• Have lunch at The Gazebo (famous for its pancakes) overlooking the bay.
• Spend the afternoon building sandcastles or just soaking up the sun.

Evening:

• Dinner at Merriman’s Kapalua for a nice family meal with stunning ocean views.

## Day 7: Last Day Adventures

Morning:

• Visit Waihee Ridge Trail for a final hike. It’s a bit more challenging but offers breathtaking views of the island and the ocean.

Afternoon:

• After your hike, head back to Kahului and stop at Kahului Beach Park for some last-minute beach time.

Evening:

• Enjoy a farewell dinner at Pineapple Grill in Kapalua, where you can reminisce about your amazing week in Maui.
