Munich is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Munich:

Day 1:

Start your day by visiting the Marienplatz, the central square of Munich. You can watch the famous Glockenspiel chime at 11 am and noon. After that, head to the Frauenkirche, a stunning cathedral with two towers that dominate the skyline of Munich. From there, you can walk to the Viktualienmarkt, a bustling outdoor market where you can find fresh produce, flowers, and local delicacies. For lunch, try some traditional Bavarian dishes like schnitzel or sausages at one of the many restaurants in the area.

In the afternoon, visit the Residenz, the former royal palace of the Bavarian monarchs. The palace has over 130 rooms, including the opulent Cuvilliés Theatre and the Antiquarium, which houses one of the largest collections of Renaissance art in Europe. End your day by taking a stroll through the English Garden, a large public park in the heart of Munich.
