Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! On your first day, you'll arrive in Kathmandu, the capital city. After checking into your hotel and freshening up, head out to explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. This bustling neighborhood is filled with shops, restaurants, and cafes, offering a perfect introduction to the local culture. Take a leisurely stroll, browse through the colorful markets, and indulge in some delicious Nepali cuisine for dinner.

Day 2: Exploring Kathmandu

Today, you'll dive deeper into the rich history and cultural heritage of Kathmandu. Start your day with a visit to the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kathmandu Durbar Square. Marvel at the ancient palaces, temples, and intricate woodwork that reflect the city's architectural grandeur.

Next, make your way to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. Climb the steps to reach the top of the hill and enjoy panoramic views of the city. Observe the monkeys playfully roaming around the temple complex, and soak in the spiritual ambiance.

In the afternoon, visit the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Witness the rituals and ceremonies being performed by devotees, and gain insight into the Hindu culture and traditions.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Today, you'll embark on a scenic journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara. After breakfast, drive or take a short domestic flight to Pokhara, a picturesque city nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax and soak in the breathtaking views of the Annapurna mountain range.

In the afternoon, explore the charming lakeside area of Pokhara. Take a boat ride on Phewa Lake, the second-largest lake in Nepal, and visit the Tal Barahi Temple located on an island in the middle of the lake. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the lakeside promenade, lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants.

If time permits, you can also visit the International Mountain Museum, which showcases the rich mountaineering history of Nepal and the Himalayas. End your day by witnessing a mesmerizing sunset over the mountains from the Peace Pagoda, located on a hilltop overlooking Pokhara.

In the evening, indulge in some delicious Nepali cuisine and relax at one of the lakeside restaurants, enjoying the tranquil ambiance.

Day 4: Departure

On your final day, bid farewell to the beautiful city of Pokhara. After breakfast, you can spend some time exploring the local markets for souvenirs or simply relax by the lakeside, taking in the serene surroundings.

Depending on your departure time, you can either drive or fly back to Kathmandu. From there, catch your international flight back home, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your time in Nepal.
