Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati, Assam

Welcome to the beautiful land of Assam! Upon your arrival at Guwahati airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Take some time to relax and settle in after your journey. In the evening, you can explore the local markets and try some delicious Assamese cuisine.

Day 2: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast, we will head towards Kaziranga National Park, which is famous for its one-horned rhinoceros. The drive will take approximately 4-5 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your resort and enjoy a jeep safari in the park to spot various wildlife species. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 3: Kaziranga National Park

Start your day with an early morning elephant safari to witness the wildlife in their natural habitat. After breakfast, you can visit the nearby tea gardens and learn about the tea-making process. In the afternoon, enjoy another jeep safari to explore different zones of the park. In the evening, you can indulge in some cultural performances by the local tribes.

Day 4: Kaziranga National Park - Shillong, Meghalaya

Today, we will drive to Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya. The journey will take around 6-7 hours, but the scenic beauty along the way will make it worthwhile. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local markets and trying out some delicious street food.

Day 5: Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shillong

After breakfast, we will take a day trip to Cherrapunji, known as the wettest place on earth. Explore the mesmerizing waterfalls like Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls, and visit the living root bridges, a unique natural wonder. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lush green landscapes and return to Shillong in the evening.

Day 6: Shillong - Dawki - Mawlynnong - Shillong

Today, we will visit the picturesque town of Dawki, located on the Indo-Bangladesh border. Take a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River and witness the beauty of the surrounding hills. Later, we will proceed to Mawlynnong, known as the cleanest village in Asia. Explore the village, visit the living root bridge, and enjoy the panoramic views from the Sky View Point. Return to Shillong in the evening.

Day 7: Shillong - Guwahati

After breakfast, we will drive back to Guwahati. En route, visit the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered shrines in Assam. Upon reaching Guwahati, you can explore the city and visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, and the Assam State Museum. In the evening, you can take a sunset cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River.
