Nova Scotia is a beautiful province with plenty of things to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Nova Scotia:

Day 1:

Start your day by exploring Halifax, the capital city of Nova Scotia. Visit the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, which is a star-shaped fort that dates back to the 18th century. You can take a guided tour or explore on your own. After that, head to the Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk, which is a great place to stroll along the harbor and enjoy the views. You can also visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, which has exhibits on the Titanic and other maritime history.

In the afternoon, drive to Peggy's Cove, which is about an hour away from Halifax. Peggy's Cove is a picturesque fishing village with a lighthouse and rocky coastline. Take a walk around the village and enjoy the scenery. You can also have dinner at one of the local restaurants, which serve fresh seafood.

Day 2:

Today, you'll explore the Annapolis Valley, which is known for its wineries and orchards. Start your day by visiting the Grand-Pré National Historic Site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It tells the story of the Acadian people who were deported from Nova Scotia in the 18th century.

After that, head to Wolfville, which is a charming university town in the heart of the Annapolis Valley. You can visit some of the local wineries, such as Domaine de Grand Pré or Luckett Vineyards. You can also go apple picking at one of the local orchards, such as Noggins Corner Farm Market.

Day 3:

After that, head to Mahone Bay, which is another picturesque village with colorful houses and a scenic waterfront. You can walk along the waterfront and visit some of the local shops and galleries.

In the afternoon, drive to the Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site, which is about an hour away from Mahone Bay. The park has hiking trails, canoeing, and camping opportunities. You can also visit the Mi'kmaw petroglyphs, which are ancient rock carvings.

In the evening, head back to Halifax and have dinner at one of the city's many restaurants. You can try some of the local craft beer or cider.
