## Day 1: Arrival and Hurricane Ridge

Midday:

• Head up to Hurricane Ridge. The drive is scenic, and once you arrive, the views are absolutely breathtaking! Take a short hike on the Hurricane Hill Trail (about 3 miles round trip) for panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains.

Afternoon:

• Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of the picnic areas with a view. After lunch, explore the visitor center to learn more about the park’s ecology and history.

Evening:

• Drive back down and check into your accommodation in Port Angeles. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant—try the Next Door Gastropub for some delicious local fare.

## Day 2: Hoh Rain Forest and Forks

Morning:

Afternoon:

• Spend the afternoon exploring Rialto Beach. If you’re up for it, hike the Rialto Beach to Hole-in-the-Wall trail (about 4 miles round trip) to see the incredible rock formations and tide pools.
