Itinerary
Ontario is a beautiful province with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 2 days in Ontario:
Day 1:
- Start your day off with a visit to the CN Tower in Toronto. This iconic landmark offers stunning views of the city and surrounding area.
- After taking in the view, head over to St. Lawrence Market for some delicious food. This market has been around since 1803 and offers a wide variety of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and baked goods.
- Next, take a stroll through the Distillery District. This pedestrian-only neighbourhood is filled with charming Victorian-era buildings that have been converted into shops, restaurants, and galleries.
- In the afternoon, head to Niagara Falls. The drive from Toronto takes about 1.5 hours, but it's well worth it to see one of the most famous natural wonders in the world. Take a boat tour to get up close and personal with the falls, or simply enjoy the view from one of the many observation decks.
- End your day with dinner at one of the many restaurants overlooking the falls.
Day 2:
- Start your day with a visit to Algonquin Provincial Park. This park is known for its stunning lakes, forests, and wildlife. Go for a hike, rent a canoe, or simply relax and take in the beauty of nature.
- After spending the morning in Algonquin, head to Ottawa, the capital of Canada. Visit Parliament Hill and take a guided tour of the historic buildings.
- Next, head to the ByWard Market, a bustling outdoor market filled with vendors selling everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts.
- In the evening, catch a show at the National Arts Centre or enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area.
