  • For dinner, head to El Fogon, a local favorite that serves delicious tacos al pastor and other Mexican specialties.

Day 2:

  • Start your day with a visit to the Mayan ruins of Tulum, located about an hour south of Playa del Carmen. These ancient ruins are perched on a cliff overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.

  • In the afternoon, take a dip in one of the many cenotes (natural swimming holes) that are scattered throughout the area. Some popular options include Cenote Azul and Gran Cenote.
  • For dinner, head to Alux, a unique restaurant located inside a cave. The atmosphere is truly magical, and the food is excellent.

Day 3:

  • Start your day with a visit to Xcaret, an eco-archaeological park that offers a variety of activities, including snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, and exploring underground rivers.
  • After spending the day at Xcaret, head back to Playa del Carmen and have dinner at Plank, a seafood restaurant that serves fresh, locally sourced fish and other seafood dishes.
  • In the evening, head to Coco Bongo, a famous nightclub that offers an incredible show featuring acrobats, dancers, and live music.

There you have it! Three days in Playa del Carmen filled with adventure, culture, and relaxation.
