Portugal is a beautiful country with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Portugal:

Day 1:

Start your day by exploring the charming city of Lisbon. Take a stroll through the historic Alfama district, where you can admire the colorful buildings and narrow streets. Stop by the iconic São Jorge Castle, which offers stunning views of the city. Afterward, head to the Belém neighborhood to visit the Jerónimos Monastery and the Tower of Belém, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. End your day with a delicious dinner at one of Lisbon's many seafood restaurants.

Day 2:

Today, take a day trip to Sintra, a picturesque town located just outside of Lisbon. Visit the stunning Pena Palace, a colorful castle perched on a hilltop that looks like it's straight out of a fairy tale. Next, explore the lush gardens of the Quinta da Regaleira estate, which features hidden tunnels, grottoes, and fountains. Finish off your day with a visit to the Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where you can watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 3:

On your final day in Portugal, head south to the Algarve region. Start your day by visiting the charming town of Lagos, where you can wander through the historic center and admire the colorful buildings. Next, head to the Ponta da Piedade cliffs, where you can take a boat tour to see the stunning rock formations and sea caves. Finally, end your day with some relaxation on one of the Algarve's beautiful beaches, such as Praia da Rocha or Praia do Vau.
