9:00 AM - Colosseum and Roman Forum After breakfast, make your way to the iconic Colosseum. It’s best to book your tickets in advance to skip the lines. Spend some time exploring this ancient amphitheater and imagining the gladiatorial battles that once took place here.

Next, stroll over to the Roman Forum, which is just a short walk away. This area is filled with ruins that were once the heart of ancient Rome. Take your time wandering through the remnants of temples and public spaces, and don’t forget to snap some romantic photos!

Midday: A Stroll Through History

12:00 PM - Lunch in Trastevere Head over to the charming neighborhood of Trastevere for lunch. This area is known for its narrow cobblestone streets and vibrant atmosphere. Try Osteria da Zi Umberto for some authentic Roman pasta dishes. Don’t miss the cacio e pepe or carbonara!

Afternoon: Art and Romance

1:30 PM - Visit the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica After lunch, make your way to the Vatican Museums. Again, booking tickets in advance is a must! Marvel at the stunning art collections, including the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo’s breathtaking ceiling.

After the museums, head to St. Peter’s Basilica. Climb to the dome for a panoramic view of the city—it's a bit of a workout, but the view is absolutely worth it!

6:00 PM - Sunset at the Pincio Terrace Make your way to the Pincio Terrace for a stunning sunset view over the city. It’s a romantic spot, and you can enjoy the beautiful colors of the sky as the sun sets behind the rooftops of Rome.

7:30 PM - Dinner in the Heart of Rome For dinner, head to Ristorante Aroma, which offers breathtaking views of the Colosseum. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but the ambiance and food are exceptional. Make a reservation in advance to secure a table with a view!

Then, take a romantic stroll through the streets of Rome. Walk to the Trevi Fountain and toss a coin in to ensure your return to this magical city. The fountain is beautifully lit at night, making it a perfect backdrop for some lovely couple photos.

10:30 PM - Nightcap If you’re up for it, find a cozy wine bar like Il Goccetto for a nightcap. Enjoy a glass of Italian wine and reflect on your wonderful day together.
