Saint Petersburg is a beautiful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 2 days in Saint Petersburg:

Day 1:

• Morning: Start your day by visiting the Hermitage Museum, one of the largest and most famous museums in the world. You can easily spend hours exploring the museum's vast collection of art and artifacts.
• Afternoon: Head over to the Peter and Paul Fortress, which was built in the early 18th century and served as a prison for political dissidents. Take a tour of the fortress and visit the Peter and Paul Cathedral, where many of Russia's tsars are buried.
