Scotland is a beautiful country with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Scotland:

Day 1:

Start your day by exploring Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. Visit the iconic Edinburgh Castle, which sits atop a hill overlooking the city. Take a guided tour to learn about the castle's history and see the Scottish Crown Jewels. Afterward, stroll down the Royal Mile, a historic street that connects Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Along the way, you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and pubs to explore.

In the afternoon, head to Arthur's Seat, an extinct volcano that offers stunning views of the city. You can hike to the top or take a more leisurely walk around the base. If you're feeling adventurous, try paragliding or rock climbing.

For dinner, head to one of Edinburgh's many traditional pubs for some hearty Scottish fare, such as haggis, neeps, and tatties (a dish made from sheep's heart, liver, and lungs, served with turnips and potatoes).

Day 2:

Today, take a day trip to the Scottish Highlands. Start by driving to Loch Ness, home of the legendary Loch Ness Monster. Take a boat tour of the loch to learn about its history and folklore. Keep an eye out for Nessie!
