Shanghai is a vibrant and exciting city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 10 days in Shanghai:

Day 1: Arrival and Settling In

Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to settle in. Depending on your arrival time, you may want to explore the area around your hotel or take a stroll along the Bund to get a feel for the city.

Day 2: Explore the Bund and Yu Garden

Start your day by taking a walk along the Bund, a famous waterfront promenade that offers stunning views of the city skyline. Afterward, head to Yu Garden, a beautiful classical Chinese garden that dates back to the Ming Dynasty. Be sure to stop by the nearby City God Temple and sample some of the local street food.

Day 3: Visit the Shanghai Museum and People's Square

Day 9: Visit the Jade Buddha Temple and Nanjing Road

Start your day by visiting the Jade Buddha Temple, a beautiful Buddhist temple that houses two jade statues of the Buddha. Afterward, head to Nanjing Road, one of the city's busiest shopping streets. Take a stroll down the pedestrian-only section and do some shopping.

Day 10: Departure

On your last day in Shanghai, take some time to reflect on your trip and do any last-minute souvenir shopping before heading to the airport for your flight home.
