Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok

Day 2: Exploring Gangtok

Start your day with a visit to the famous Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim. Afterward, head to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, where you can learn about the rich Tibetan culture and history. In the afternoon, take a cable car ride to the picturesque Tashi Viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains. End your day with a visit to the serene Enchey Monastery.

Day 3: Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir Excursion

Today, embark on a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a stunning glacial lake located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and take a yak ride around the lake. Afterward, visit the nearby Baba Mandir, a sacred shrine dedicated to an Indian army soldier. Return to Gangtok in the evening and spend some leisure time exploring the local markets.

Day 4: Pelling Exploration

After breakfast, drive to Pelling, a charming hill station known for its natural beauty and historical sites. Visit the famous Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Sikkim. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga Range from the nearby Rabdentse Ruins, the ancient capital of Sikkim. Day 5: Ravangla and Buddha Park

Today, head to Ravangla, a small town nestled amidst the mountains. Visit the Buddha Park, home to a magnificent 130-foot tall statue of Lord Buddha. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys. You can also visit the Ralong Monastery, known for its beautiful murals and serene surroundings. Return to Pelling in the evening and relax at your hotel.

Day 6: Yuksom and Khecheopalri Lake

Embark on a scenic drive to Yuksom, the first capital of Sikkim. Explore the historical sites of Yuksom, including the Norbugang Chorten and the Dubdi Monastery, both of which hold great religious and historical significance. Afterward, visit the enchanting Khecheopalri Lake, considered sacred by both Buddhists and Hindus. Enjoy the tranquility of the lake and the surrounding forest. Return to Pelling in the evening and spend some leisure time.

Day 7: Gangtok Sightseeing

Today, return to Gangtok and explore some of the city's hidden gems. Visit the beautiful Banjhakri Falls, a natural waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. Explore the Flower Exhibition Centre, where you can witness a wide variety of exotic flowers. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along the MG Marg, the main street of Gangtok, lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Enjoy some shopping and indulge in local delicacies.

Day 8: Departure

On your last day in Sikkim, bid farewell to this beautiful land. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Take back wonderful memories of your family-friendly adventure in Sikkim.
