After a leisurely breakfast, head towards the Cultural Triangle, which includes the ancient cities of Sigiriya, Dambulla, and Polonnaruwa. Start your day by visiting the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning views and ancient frescoes. Next, explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, a series of rock temples adorned with intricate Buddhist murals and statues. In the afternoon, visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, where you can explore the well-preserved ruins of palaces, temples, and statues.
Today, embark on an exciting wildlife safari in Minneriya National Park. This park is famous for its large population of wild elephants, which you can observe up close in their natural habitat. After the safari, return to your hotel and relax for the evening.
Today, venture into the lush green hills of Nuwara Eliya, known as the "Little England" of Sri Lanka. Enjoy a scenic train ride from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, passing through picturesque tea plantations, misty mountains, and cascading waterfalls. Upon arrival, visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about the process of tea production and enjoy a refreshing cup of Ceylon tea. On your last day, head towards the charming coastal town of Galle.
