Taipei is a vibrant city with a perfect blend of modernity and nature, and I’m excited to help you plan a fabulous 3-day itinerary that includes parks, green spaces, and all the Instagrammable spots. Let’s dive in!
Day 1: Exploring the Heart of Taipei
Morning:
- : Start your day at this iconic landmark. The grand architecture and beautiful gardens surrounding the hall are perfect for some stunning photos. Don’t forget to catch the changing of the guard ceremony!
- : Just outside the memorial, this expansive square is a great spot to take in the views and snap some pictures.
Lunch:
- Head to (the original location on Xinyi Road) for some world-famous xiaolongbao (soup dumplings). The restaurant is quite popular, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it’s totally worth it!
Afternoon:
- : After lunch, stroll through this serene garden. It’s a lovely escape from the city hustle, and you’ll find plenty of beautiful plants and flowers to photograph.
- : A short walk from the garden, this temple is a hidden gem and offers a glimpse into local culture and architecture.
Evening:
- : Head to this lively district for dinner and shopping. The neon lights and street performances make for a vibrant atmosphere. Don’t forget to snap some photos of the famous Red House!
- Dinner: Try some street food at the night market here, like stinky tofu or bubble tea.
Day 2: Nature and Views

Day 3: Culture and City Life

- : After lunch, hike up Elephant Mountain for one of the best views of Taipei, especially with in the foreground. The hike is relatively short but steep, so wear comfortable shoes!

- : End your trip with a visit to one of Taipei’s most famous night markets. The vibrant atmosphere, delicious street food, and colorful stalls make it a perfect spot for your last night. Don’t miss the pepper buns and grilled squid!

- Transportation: The MRT is super convenient for getting around Taipei. Consider getting an EasyCard for easy access to public transport.
