I'd be happy to help you plan your 10-day itinerary in Tenerife. Since this is your fourth trip, I'll try to suggest some unique and off-the-beaten-path activities that you may not have tried before.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax and unwind. You could spend the day lounging by the pool or beach, or exploring the local area around your hotel. In the evening, head out for a romantic dinner at one of the island's many seafood restaurants.
Start your day early and head to Anaga Rural Park, located in the northeastern part of the island. This beautiful park is home to lush forests, rugged mountains, and stunning coastal views. There are several hiking trails to choose from, ranging from easy to challenging. After your hike, stop by the charming village of Taganana for lunch.
Take a boat tour to see the whales and dolphins that inhabit the waters around Tenerife. You'll have the opportunity to see several species of whales, including pilot whales and sperm whales, as well as bottlenose dolphins. After your tour, head to the nearby town of Los Cristianos for dinner and drinks.
Explore the mysterious Pyramids of Guimar, located in the southeastern part of the island. These six-step pyramids were built by the Guanches, the indigenous people of Tenerife, and their purpose is still unknown. After your visit, head to the nearby town of Candelaria to see the famous Basilica of Our Lady of Candelaria.
Spend the day relaxing on the beautiful beaches of El Medano, located in the southern part of the island. This area is known for its strong winds, making it a popular spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing. After a day in the sun, head to the nearby town of Granadilla de Abona for dinner.
Take a day trip to Teide National Park, home to the highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide. You can take a cable car to the summit for stunning views of the island, or explore the park's hiking trails and volcanic landscapes. After your visit, head to the nearby town of La Orotava for dinner.
Spend the day exploring the capital city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Visit the beautiful Plaza de España, the historic Auditorio de Tenerife, and the bustling Mercado de Nuestra Señora de Africa. In the evening, head to the trendy La Noria district for dinner and drinks.
Take a day trip to the picturesque village of Masca, located in the northwestern part of the island. This charming village is nestled in a valley surrounded by towering cliffs, and is known for its stunning views and traditional architecture. After your visit, head to the nearby town of Garachico for dinner.
Visit the town of Tacoronte, located in the northern part of the island, for a wine tasting tour. This area is known for its excellent wines, particularly the white wines made from the local Listán Blanco grape. After your tour, head to the nearby town of La Laguna for dinner.
On your final day, take some time to relax and enjoy your last moments on the island. You could spend the day shopping for souvenirs, visiting a local spa, or simply soaking up the sun on the beach. In the evening, head to the airport for your flight home.
