Personalized with:Me and my wife live in italy and we are going back to our mother country sri lanka to visit family (we have a house in srilanka) on 15th October 2025, we have one month of time , so until 15th of November. We wanted to go a trip to Thailand since she is buddhist and loves sunny and sea destinations. So i thought we would be going to Thailand about 01 november 2025. I thought spending about 10 days in Thailand, and i wanted to divide the stay in the following: From the 01st November to the 5th november (included, so 5 nights) to stay between bangkok and pattaya. Then i saw on the 6th of november there is the YI PENG 2025 LANTERN FESTIVAL in Chiang Mai organized by CAD, the thailand government, and it costs around 130,00 euros per person to participate that evening, and i thought it would be a once in lifetime experience to be able to participate it, would you reccomend it or is it just an overpriced tourist trap? After Chiang Mai, i wanted to go to phuket for 4 nights (so from the 7th to the 10th night included), also to visit the phi phi islands and any other attractions in phuket or nearby.i would like to know if its better for the 5 nights between bangkok and pattaya to just stay in a hotel in bangkok and the maybe when we visit pattaya we just go for a day trip with trains or buses from bangkok or is there any other fast transportation between bangkok and pattaya? is 1 day enough to visit pattaya or 2 days are neccessary? Note that we would like to visit mostly buddhist temples (only the most important ones in bangkok and pattaya), than the most reccomended sight seeings, i know there is a big park in pattaya, i would like to bring her there too and one half day i would like to bring her to an acquatic fun park, about the food we will have a big breakfast in our hotels and then for the rest of the day we want to try a lot of street food, where are the most popular places for street food and markets?lets adjust something first: since we are open to new "experiences", in the evening, after our touristic visits in bangkok and pattaya, we would like to go with her to those bars and nightlife clubs where we can meet up with thai girls who are bisexuals and are comfrotable having fun and a good time with couples , are there specific areas where we can go both in bangkok and pattaya to make it happen? also i was looking to book a 5 star hotel in bangkok prices maximum 200 euros per night where they have no problem if we bring a friend in our room for a couple of hours and that there is a private jacuzzi in the room.let's adjust first something else too: about the day we go to chiang mai, we want to go the fastest way as we dont want to travel for 10 hours in trains or buses, so i guess in the morning of the 06th November we would get a flight from bangkok to chiang mai , i know the festival of the lanterns organized by CAD thailand are in the evening, do you think is there any other interesting sight seeing in chiang mai we could go to, before the event or the next morning? also think that the 07th we will have to go to phuket, what would be the best and fastest way to go there? our budget for a 5 star hotel for the night in chiang mai is around 150 euros with breakfast included, possibly with jacuzzi. Lets adjust some other things too please, i promise these will be the last ones, i think :P About the 4 nights (from the 7th november to 10th november included) in phuket, are there flights from chiang mai to phuket? also, is it recommended renting a car in phuket since it looks like there arent many public transportations? we would like to go also to visit the phi phi islands for a day trip during one of those 4 days, what is the best way from phuket? also in phuket we would like to visit the major sightseeing temples and then in the evenings we would like to do the same night life as bangkok and pattaya, where do you recommend for us to go in phuket to have a girls that are comfortable to having fun with couples? Also the hotel we want is a 5 star with a budget of about 150,00 euros per night with possible a jacuzzi in the room
