Day 1:
Morning: Start your day by visiting the famous . This temple is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India and attracts millions of devotees every year. Make sure to plan your visit in advance and check for any special darshan timings or rituals.
Afternoon: After seeking blessings at the temple, you can explore the nearby attractions in Tirupati. Visit the Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is located at the foothills of the Tirumala Hills. The temple is known for its serene ambiance and beautiful architecture.
Evening: Take a leisurely stroll at the picturesque Chandragiri Fort, located about 11 kilometers from Tirupati. This historical fort offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and is a great spot for photography enthusiasts. You can also explore the Raja Mahal and Rani Mahal within the fort premises.
Day 2:
Morning: Start your day early and embark on a scenic drive from Tirupati to Arunachalam, which is approximately 150 kilometers away. Arunachalam is famous for the Arunachaleswarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located on top of a hill and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
Afternoon: Spend the afternoon exploring the Arunachalam town and its surroundings. You can visit the Ramana Maharshi Ashram, a spiritual retreat dedicated to the teachings of the renowned sage Ramana Maharshi. The ashram is a peaceful place to meditate and reflect.
Evening: Enjoy a serene sunset at the Arunachalam Hill, also known as Annamalai Hill. This hill is considered sacred and is believed to be a manifestation of Lord Shiva. You can either hike up the hill or take a cable car ride to reach the top. Witnessing the sunset from the hilltop is a truly mesmerizing experience.
After the sunset, you can head back to Tirupati or choose to stay overnight in Arunachalam, depending on your preference and schedule.
