Tokyo is an amazing city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 3 days in Tokyo that will give you a taste of the city's culture, history, and modernity while keeping in mind your backpacker budget:

Day 1:

• Start your day by visiting the famous Tsukiji Fish Market, one of the largest fish markets in the world. You can watch the tuna auction and try some fresh sushi for breakfast.
• After breakfast, head to the Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, one of the oldest and most famous temples in Tokyo. Take a stroll through the Nakamise shopping street, where you can find traditional Japanese souvenirs and snacks.
• In the afternoon, visit the trendy neighborhood of Harajuku, known for its fashion and street art. Take a walk down Takeshita Street, where you can find unique clothing stores and cafes.
