Tokyo is an amazing city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 5 days in Tokyo that will give you a taste of everything the city has to offer while keeping it friendly and fun.

Day 1: Arrival and Exploration

After arriving in Tokyo, take some time to settle in and get your bearings. Depending on your arrival time, you may want to explore your neighborhood or take a stroll through one of Tokyo's many parks. If you're feeling adventurous, head to Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest intersections in the world, and take in the energy of the city.
